KNOWN ISSUE

1) During the meeting with the NPC Boutros Boutros-Ghali 

the protagonist's portrait remains dark. Please note that that is not game breaking - you can continue. Apologies for the inconvenience.

2) After the first meeting with the NPC Menachem Begin his portrait is not shown on the negotiation graph. This results in a soft lock. Apologies about that.

A patch to fix those issues is going to be released after the Interstellar Game Jam 9 voting period ends on August 17.

STORY

Play as the Egyptian president Muhammad Anwar el-Sadat (1918 – 1981) who cut ties with a traditional ally and risked exclusion from the Arab group of nations in order to establish peace just years after he waged war. He was a legendary figure whose controversial actions changed the Middle East.

The design of the game is based on player skill. You can make the game less difficult by leveling up the character. Click on the brain icon to open the level up menu.

Two mini games which represent the emotional state of the main character.

When the attitude is set to build the relationship with the NPC, the player has access to special actions, they can track the mood points and try to increase the dialog depth.

CONTROLS

This is a one button game - you can play with a mouse. Pressing [Esc] will pause the game.

CREDITS

Made for the Interstellar Game Jam 9 with the theme "Singularity". Sadat's singular visit to Jerusalem changed the course of history. It remains the one and only visit by an Arab leader to Israel's capital.

Used Krita to draw the faces of two historical figures on a Wacom tablet.
