Historical accuracy

The story is set in Nigeria and is based on the difficult choices the managers of the Shell-BP subsidiary faced there especially in the 1990s.

The title of the game was inspired by the real world Nigerian company "Phronesis Oil and Gas".

Inaccurate: In Nigeria there is enough natural pressure that the oil can be extracted without a pump. The grasshopper pump featured in the game is used because most people are familiar with this machine.
